Default Optimum No Rinse

I picked up a bottle of Optimum No Rinse soap last week and used it for the first time on the weekend - what an awsome experience. I didn't need to get out the hose or freeze outside. I just grabed 2 gallons of warm water to keep my hands warm, added one ounce of soap and voila!

The car came out super clean and shiny and it took me 30% less time to wash and dry.

Disclaimer: I own the company

Second Disclaimer: Not really, I was just impressed with the product.

I use it too and I'm very happy with it.

Quick heads-up for you however. If you are using a lambs wool
mit, make sure you wash the product out of the wool completely
after use.

It sort of de-haired my mitt, one clump at a time, and also took the
elasticity out of the rubber wrist portion of the mit.

I've been using microfiber towels but that's sort of scary that it has such degenerative qualities :-0

It's scary how strong the soaps are now adays, I had to get some rust touch ups done to the hatch of my BMW touring... the body shop guys mentioned that they are seeing alot of this etching and rusting that may be related to the soap that is use at the no touch car washes.

My car washing moto now goes something like this...if it is strong enough to require less elbow grease to make the car shiny...make darn sure that you rinse it off completely.... that sorta goes against the name of this product your writing about eh!

I've been using the stuff for years. I get great results as anyone who knows my car can attest.

I love ONR, my favorite for winter washing.

i bought the '1L' size of ONR..... works good for the paint and the glass.... what do u guys use on the wheels? I find my wheels have a even coating of brake dust after a few trips, If I try to wash it off with the ONR, it pretty much destroys the mitt....

I use an old imitation sheepskin mitt now for the wheels, and it's pretty black from the tire dressing and the brake dust.

I use a couple 'MF' mitts from CT to do the body, and a large MF towel to dry. I had one of the Tornado waffle-weave towels that I bought from eshine at the same time as the ONR, but it's gone missing.... I washed it and put it somewhere so it wouldn't get mixed in with the other cleaning rags.... now I can't remember where I put it..... sigh....early onset alzheimers.....
