Wowo took that viper over 10 minutes to pass him. The traffic certainlt helped the Porsche out but I was amazed that he passed the viper on the long open straight at the end with no traffic. Great video of American Horsepower vs German Engineering!!

I've always believed that North American cars, including race cars, are built more for the straight line than curves, and this video kinda proves that. If it wasn't for the turns, that viper would have been out in front the whole race. But then that would make for a boring race. And I do believe that P driver rather enjoyed cutting off that viper a few times.

Looks like the GT3 and traffic slowed the Viper down. Looks the viper was also neutered for top speed down the front straight. Once past the Porsche nothing was going to slow it down.

I think the Viper looked better in the corners and if not for traffic would have been by fairly quickly. The Viper driver was mature and patient and didn't force the issue in a couple of places.

Was this an actual race? The speed difference between these two and the other cars remind me of when I had my shifter kart out on the track at the same time as the 4 stroke Honda's!

I agree. The viper had no problem in the corners and it looked as though the Porsche was slowing him down. That being said, I agree with Ice that when the Viper passes the P-car on the straight away, I though he was gone for good, and then all of a sudden, the P-car is back in the lead. Amazing!

That was brilliant. I'm sweating and can't believe that they didn't crash with all those 'slow' cars on the track. It looks like they completed a lap in under 7 mins. My take is that the viper guy is buddies with the GT3 and stayed back to tape GT3 b/c it seemed like the Viper could catch him anytime he wished...

I was just wondering how modded this GT3 and Viper are?
If stock, then it is great!
