Default Appraisals

Hey Guys/Girls,

Any consensus on which appraisal company is best in the GTA for classic P Cars?
I am thinking I will get a fresh appraisal for selling the car, and at the very least, update my insurance coverage (Silver Wheels), and increase my value (my origional appraisal was done before any of the work on the car).

Thanks in Advance.....

Mark

+1 for Bruce Farrow. Great guy, and he'll do a thorough job.

There is plenty of selection, lots of knowledge and competitive pricing on this one. Check the last thread on this one.

I just e-mailed Bruce tonight. My insurance company wants an updated appraisal. I'm going to be at Mosport next weekend and Bruce usually will do appraisals at DE events.
When he did my appraisal 5 years ago he was very thorough. He seems to know his way around Porsches.

Good to know. Any idea of costs? I think i paid Roger the Appraisal guy $150. He was recommended by Silver Wheels and would like to get Bruce's contact info. Thanks!

$150 sounds right. My guy was a 30+ year bodyman/shop owner. He was very good, he got my value to $13,500 plus the insurance company adds the taxes, so if she's a write off @ $15,000 I will get. ING is who she's with.

Peter also has a mint Austin Healy that he built from the ground up....you could eat off the undercarriage.
