Here is the mistake I almost didn't escape from.
My save only went to lap23. Missed the big finish where Mark piles into the back of all of us and I get pushed over the finish line.
I don't know how Mark does it but he found a shortcut through the pits. How much time did that save you?

This race was brutal for me! The last restart didn't work to my advantage at all...too bad because I had a good jump with the the previous start. The aero was so damaged on my car, that I couldn't get below 1.29 the whole race...I think I pitted 6 times!

Well not to worry I have to drive the GT1 next week. The Turbo's are nasty. I tried the R2 Vette and it is really fast and doesn't have the crazy turbo spool so it is much easier to drive and accelerate without spinning out. I can't even come close to the lap times in the GT1 to what the Vette can do.

Only one Porsche showed up for this showdown. I was able to keep pace with the lead until the Microsoft wheel failed me.
The wheel screwed up not once but 3 times during the 25 laps. It paused the game and I ended up with damage that caused me to pit twice. The 3rd time it happened I went straight off into the wall suffering 100% damage.
I was lapped but I did manage a second place finish.

ok Last Sunday only me and Pete, error, I mean Pete and I showed up.
We still had a load of fun. We set the game on team play against the computer.
Teams were
A class 997 GT3 at pro level
A class C6 Z06 at intermediate level
B class Porche 911T at pro level
vs
Pete B700 Corvette GS
Greg B700 Corvette GS
Computer player at B class Corvette GS
on Madza Laguna Seca
Pete and I did win against the computer, here is some video.
