Great thread Greg! ... what will the next track be?

 

maybe need a poll for the next one, it doesn't matter to me.

 

Hi guys, I'm thinking about joining you. I've raced quite a lot on Gran Turismo 4 on european sites (hot lap). I have the XBox 360 and Forza 2 but my only problem is that I played games with 3 profiles and the one where I almost completed Forza 2 is not the profile which is registered on XBox live.... I will have to pay another registration !!

I'll keep you informed when I'm ready to "kick asses"....

 

Jumper, I did some testing at the Sebring 12 Hrs course with a 997 RS modified to A847 and I was lapping 2.11.00 pretty comfortably, then I took the R4 #82 Red Bull GT3 Cup and I was doing 2.06.00 in the same manner...Where do I stand with those times ??

 

It's put you in the same league as Peter/DigitalPZ. Which means your right in the middle of the 2 skill levels.

 

Thanks jumper, I'll probably set up a new Live account and join you...By the way, I drive with the hood view, is it the same for you guys or most of you drive with the rear chase view ? (I admit right away that in traffic the hood view is not the easiest way to go...)

 

I use the hood view with the rear view mirror. I've also changed my wheel setup to the alternate config where you press x and b to look left and right and y to look back, the only thing now is I have to use the telemetry to view my damage because the b button is mapped to look to the right.

The majority of us use the wheel. We started this racing to be a simulation of the real thing, though some of the newer and more experienced members from the CF forum are using the pad. I personally would never play a racing game if there wasn't a wheel.

looks ok
25 laps at Sunset is a 40 min race
25 laps at Sebring is a 50 min race
25 laps at Laguna is a 40 min race
50 laps at Rd Atlanta is a 85 min race

I love to do Motegi one day but everyone needs to go buy that one.

 

I was thinking that the final race could be a long one ... maybe we could change the car classes for it ... GT2 - R2's and GT1 - R4's

 

I don't want to get rid of the b700 to A850 race. We can always add a week 7

also R2 would lap an R4 car every 6 laps so R4 is going to need a 8 lap head start.

 

OK ... we'll stick with your original set up ... and leave it at 25 Laps.
