They bring some Porshe Drivers from the U.S.A and Germany and they run a Drivers Ed course with 20 of the Latest cars from their model line up. You get to drive the line up.
Something I would really love to do. Put to rest in my own mind the C2 vs C4 debate and then try the mid engined Cayman right after on a track that I know like the back of my hand. Would be a very good decision making process. Not to mention trying the new unfun PDK versions of their cars.

I am scheduled for the 18th.
I asked about the Panamera earlier in the year and I guess this is just something from them to try and sweeten the deal, but then again I did bought a 997TT from them 2 yrs ago and before that a 996C4S back in 02.
I was hoping they would have the Panamera but too bad they don't.

Here is the run down, same for all days, 13th-23rd
8:30 registration
9:00 welcome speech
9:45 driving session
12:45 lunch
13:45 driving session
16:00 demo laps
16:30 award ceremony
17:00 departure
I was told they are using the big track, the small one is just not big enough for all the cars and people.

I was there for the supplier day today and WOW! Press is tomorrow and then it's for the invited consumers until the 23rd. What a great and classy event Porsche Cars Canada put on! If you got an invite, make sure you go! Everything from the meals, the tents, the gifts was first rate. The best part of the day for me was getting hot laps with a couple of European pro-shoes around the track in the Cayenne Turbo and....the GT2!! That car is Satan's own sled! Imagine drifting through turn 2 sideways at more than 150km/h or exiting turn 5 at 175 km/h...sideways too! I stopped looking over at his speed on the back straight once it we hit 265km/h!...I now feel like a snail officially. I was very impressed with the Cayman S w/PDK and DFI engine and the turbo cab accelerates so fast and stops so fast (PCCBs), that your eyeballs actually hurt.
Bravo Porsche!![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
