No...you won't see your car all day and all the out-of-towners are shuttled in from the Soho Metropolitan hotel where Porsche is putting them up. I was probably one of the only non-Porsche employees to show up in a p-car on Monday.
Have fun and report back.

Wow, what a event from Porsche.
My group did the offroading first, granted it's a light duty offroad track but the Cayenne is really quite capable, I am impressed as the Cayenne felt not at all out of place in the dirt, very composed.
We then did the handling segment, with a 6 speed C2S, a pdk Targa4S, a PDK Cayman S and a Cayenne S. I started with the Targa4S, boy did it feel at home on the track, it's pretty much idiot proof, corners as if it's on rails and once it take a set after the initial turn-in, it refused to under or over steer, it just goes where you pointed it. I am also impressed with the PDK, it's so smooth, shifts are lightning quick, and even the programming is excellent at speed, I tried it both on manual and on automatic, and I have to say the automatic mode wins out, gear selection is spot-on, on the back straight I got to about 260km/h at the top of the hill, jump on the brakes and the gearbox just keep rev-matched downshifts into 2nd for the turn, I felt like Michael Schumacher with the perfect gear changes![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Jumping into the C2S was such a let down after the 4S, the car felt twitchy in the turns and never gave me the feeling that I am in control of the car, sum it up with one word, scary.
After that I got in the Cayenne S, after believing the car will not roll over in the turns, boy was it impressive to wrestle a 2.5ton truck around the track.
Last was the Cayman S PDK with GT2 seats, gearbox is perfect, car felt perfect also, felt very light and agile compared with the 911s, but it does not have the twitchy feel of the C2S. The tail steps out in the turns but the car is so well balanced that I can play with the tail with the throttle.
After the handling we did the autocross with the Cayman S, the boxster was parked. Our group was led by the head pro, Stef, and he was excellent in teaching how to drive the course. Most of the time, 'more power more power' is what I hear
3 pratice laps then 2 timed laps with him riding shotgun.
There was a prize for the fastest driver in each group at the end of the day, I lucked out and won the time trial, another person in the group had a faster time but he clipped a cone and 3 seconds was added. At the end we asked Stef to do a timed lap for us, 31.2 seconds if I remember correctly. One of the 5 winners had a amazing time, it's just off Stef's time.
Last was the Turbo tip braking test. We are suppose to keep the 85km/h speed until braking, but I had so much fun launching the car I just ignore the 85km/h alarm and kept my foot down until we reach the cones, then full on ABS and turn on the flag man's signal, more fun that way. And the Turbo is just bullet proof, everyone is suppose to do 5 runs, so 40 runs per group and 200 runs per day, but reality is almost everyone does more the 5 runs and more than 200 passes every track day. The Turbo had made over 1000 passes already when we got there and even with the brake-torqued launches, nothing broke in the car and they only had to replaced the tires once.
I didn't get the chance to ride in the GT2 with Stef, but I got to ride in the 4S behind him with another pro, next best thing outside of riding in the GT2, front row seat to watch Stef going sideways on every single corner. The guy in the GT2 came out pale white and almost puke.

Had a good run out of the bottom of the hill, it's above 250 for sure as that's the last time I check the speed before the top of the hill, which is why I was saying about/around, could be less but I don't care as the car is really fun to drive. When I ride with the pro in the C4S, he was sideways out of the bottom of the hill and he hit 262 before braking.

Yes, inside the main tent there are merchandises for sale, clothing, toys, even a golfbag, at a discount and tax free too. The other day we clean them out of the USB storage stick in the shape of a Porsche key, hopefully they restock them for you guys.
