Default Anyone interested in some bronze VOLK TE37 with r-compound *SOLD*

Hi,

I bought these to put on my 951 but can't afford to keep these and my HRE rims. The rims are basically new with some minor nicks and scratches from storage. ABSOLUTELY NO CURB RASH. The lips appear shiny on the pictures from the wheels being stacked by the P.O. and lips being slightly shinier with the flash. They come with volk anodized valve stems and caps and center caps. Tires are yokohama advan 048. Rears are still good but fronts are quite heavily cambered, anyhow they will be included for free mounted on the rims.

Front: 18 x 8.5 et 50mm
Rear: 18 x 10 et 60mm

These should fit 964, 993, 996, 944 narrow bodies with a spacer in the rear depending on application. $SOLD

If anyone wants to use those on the track I hope you don't mind the wheel weights falling off.

I have a set of those and there was no way of keeping the balancing weights on. The inside of the rim is sloped and centrifugal force starts pushing the weights sideways. The glue can't hold the weights and they slide off. Taping, cleaning the rim, etc was tried. The design of the rim is bad so it won't help.

I put street rubber on those rims and use them on the public roads and in the rain. I can't believe they actually sell rims like that. I guess in Japan with a 100 km/h national limit they do ok. They will never pass TUV in Germany as the weights will fly off on the autobahn.

Sorry to poop on your for sale ad. The rims are fine for street use but should not be used with r-comps on the track. Unless driven slow

Have you tried fitting these on your 951? Did they fit alright or did they need spacers for the front?

These are one of the most popular track wheels beacause of weight and solidity. Rave reviews everywhere. Anyhow YMMV.

I'd appreciate that. I'm definitely in the market for a set of these. I haven't found any pictures of them on a 951 though, so I've been hesitant to pull the trigger due to unknown fit.

I gave up on trying to make the weights to stay on. I'll just use wheels that work.

I have seen the "rave" reviews, too. Now I feel like a sucker.
