I happen to live in Calgary also, and I just imported an 89 c4 from Nashville, TN.

I had found it on ebay, but ended up buying it privately after I missed the auction (reserve had not been met). I had it shipped to Calgary with hansens, and cleared it myself once it got here.

Took ~10 days to get here, and clearing it was super easy - as it was >15 years old, there is no need to deal with the RIV.. A quick trip down to the customs office (near sunridge mall) and I was on my way.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM.

Red is only faster when it's passing a on the left after crossing a double line...

Black is fastest ...you know what they say..."once you have had black, you never go back"

Hey. I resemble that remark
It was the silver car.
If it was the red one I doubt he would have dropped in 10 KMH

It died a slow death....the last time I went there it was only me, Mark (Lue) and Mark from Brooklin....we had a terrible spring, cold and raining and the group just never got bigger. Having said that, we did have one outing with about 10-12 people, but that was pretty much it.

I've been lurking here for a quite while since I started my search for my first P-Car. I decided that I would keep my current car as a winter beater and buy myself the car that I've always wanted.

I'm interested in a C4 964, but would also consider a G50 911 for the right price. Not looking for a garage queen by any stretch - I want a car to drive. The biggest problem is being based in Calgary, AB. I've been hunting around BC/AB through Kijiji / Craigslist, here on Rennlist and on Pelican. Can you guys think of any other sources? Autotrader has mostly dealer inventory. There's a couple in town at Envision but at over 30k, I suspect they are over priced in this market. Do you think I should hold off until the driving season starts up again? Lastly, anyone here imported an older vehicle? I'd love to buy from a Rennlister but most sellers are in the States ( and the Eastern part at that, so I would have to ship it, likely ).

Anyways, just wanted to write a bit of an introduction. I'll post pics when I finally pull the trigger, as per Rennlist rules . Hopefully in the summer I can make the trek out East for some epic cruises.

Cheers.
Did you per chance check out the 965 on the for sale forum. That one is verry inteeressting.
