It seems like Rogers customers are having internet access problems as in DNS Problems where some sites work, some don't. I tried using OpenDNS but no success either.
Anybody else or any Bell customers having problems?

i'm on rogers and i have no problem. have you tried their "alternate" dns servers which done serve you up a rogers page when you enter an incorrect address:
altdns.rnc.net.cable.rogers.com
64.71.255.202
altdns.rnc.net.cable.rogers.com
64.71.255.202

Hmmmm, I tried both suggestions and they work, but for the sites that already worked. Hmmm.
I'm in North Brampton if that helps.

This may help or not!
Do you have Windows XP Service Pack 3 installed? If you are going through a router you may not have problems but if the PC/laptop is connected directly to the cable modem you may have problems with Win XP SP3 affecting DNS resolution. I tried to deliver a new PC with SP3 to my parents on the weekend and ran into that problem, after uninstalling SP3 as per the Rogers Support Tech the internet connection was restored. He mentioned that there was a white paper on SP3 and DNS but I haven't checked.
Good luck

Today the Canadian Do Not Call list went on line. It crashed the Fed's servers due to the traffic volume. That and the day traders have clogged the Net.
Now, if you are still having problems today it could be an issue with the service to your home. There could be a problem with the drop outside. This is more noticable when it is raining (as today) or has been damp for a while. Contact tech suport and have them check your modem connectivity.
