Pearson airport valet parking: NOT FOR PORSCHES
I would never let a valet touch my p-car, but I've used the valet service for the FX35 a few times since it's a lease AND it's an automatic. Well, walking past the valet area on my way to the elevator to retrieve my car on the back of the rooftop , I see 3 911's parked in the valet area. I also see a valet riding the clutch and stalling one of them (repeatedly) trying to shoehorn it into a spot !
While the convenience of not having to hike a mile to your car is nice, it can't justify the inconvenience of having to replace a clutch and flywheel prematurely. Guys, what are you thinking here?...trusting some kid earning minimum wage to drive a $100K+ car!?!
End of rant.

when I was about 16 I used to valet park...needless to say I don't leave my keys with the valet now. Limo is the way to go or if I really want to save can drive to the long term lot and take the monorail at the airport...pretty cool. but not for the pcars.
those cars were probably leased and be given back in a year so the owners don't care nor appreciate what they have, oh well

I always self park the p-car and spend an inordinate amount of time looking for the "perfect" spot. BTW, the 911 that was being tortured was a 997 cab with a PCA sticker prominently displayed on the bottom right of the windshield; if you're reading this, beware of the valets from now on.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. My wife thinks I'm a little **** about it, but she's learned to accept that, especially now that I just drop her at the door and then go to find that special parking spot.

my p-car is a regular fixture at Pearson's, but I always self-park. I just hate waiting for limos and then having to give the drivers turn by turn directions to get me home. Multiply that by 70 to 80 times a year and I'd be fit to be tied! Getting into my Porsche right away after multiple hours in the "care" of Air Canada, helps to restore my sanity.
