I'm a newbie to DE. Will be my first time. I have signed up for the May 3&4 event. Not quite sure what to expect. Looking forward to it.

Heinz have you done skid Pad ? I don't think you will be allowed to do the DE unless you have done skidpad first.

Heinz, this document might give you an idea what to expect. Although it is not for Mosport, it is well written and easy to understand.

Heinz, expect to go home with a new addiction that makes crack seem like the munchies UCR DEs are probably the best way to ease your way into track driving, especially if you're a bit nervous to start with, like I was. Starting with braking exercises and skid pad is invaluable. In fact, I truly believe skid pad should be a mandatory part of standard MTO driver's ed for teens.

What's up with the 40 charge. I never get charged for a tech inspection.

On a side note. I won't be ready for May 3-4 DE, I just changed it to the May 30 June 1st DE.

Christien - I'd like to do the skid pad. Who do I need to talk to about setting up a session? I'll be at Autowerks this Saturday if that matters at all.

That weekend could be perfect for me to come by and visit. Have business in middle of May in T.O. but I might come earlier.

Iceman, webbie, Christien, Sorry, I've been busy the past week or so, Finally catching up. Yes I'm signed up for Skid pad on the 19th and then DE in May. Haven't thought much further than that. Thought I would see how it goes. AS summer gets going other stuff starts getting in the way.
