I have no direct experience, but have heard very good things about Franz from a source I respect.

I've known Franz for 20 years. He Used to work for Phaff years back and was awarded one of North America's top Porsche mechanics at one time. When I bought my 930 I took it to him and he just drove it out the shop and notices a noise which I would have never noticed and knew in an instance the rear torsion bar was upside down. It was bumping on the tranny ever so slightly but he knew. The PO of my car had the engine removed at some point for a clutch fork factory upgrade elsewhere and they put it on that way. He is very well know in the Porsche world. He is very busy at all times so booking with him is always unknown when he'll be able to get to your car. It's worth it though and he does his best to get it done in a fasionable time.

He is very knowledgeable and I won't take my car anywhere else... period.

The guy is very knowledgable and thorough. You get what you pay for. Wouldn't think twice driving the distance for service.

I've been servicing my P-car there for 8 years.
Never a problem, with fair picing and ALWAYS does extra.

He owns a few 928's and is familiar with servicing them.
