I hope it wasn't your driveway where that cop was camped out on Saturday picking off Porsches! I saw him way in advance ( I was leading 2 other 911s: a 997 C4S and a 993 Cab) and slowed to 65 km (in a 80 zone) and lifted my Tim's cup to him in a FU gesture. We got away cleanly, but a hapless 944 coming up fast(er) behind our group got nailed...I doubt he was doing more than 20 over and it was 7:30 am on a nearly deserted road... what an opportunistic cop!

 

I think he goes to the Mosport website, takes a look around, hit's the car forums next and then camps out waiting in baited breath. Hope the health and safety reports about the effects of radar shrinking gonads comes true... Ontario safe and secure against people *with* driving skills going a few K's over. Meanwhile, out on the 401, a poorly maintained death trap going 40k over, swerving through traffic feeling free and secure as you play tax collector. Thank you officer, another Porsche owner self directing his income your way.

 

It's not my place, I only board 2 horses there and help out a few times a week.

I hear you. I was on the 401 doing 120kms in the middle lane and it was non-stop cars passing me, 18 wheelers etc. I know these cars were passing at well over 140 (60 over the limit), At 120 i was holding up traffic at the rate.
(watch me get a ticket for going too slow)

thats a friend of mine... He use to live in my building, now he moved into a house... he has a Silver 996 TT on BBS LM's for Winters...

yea its a 04 X50 chipped on 18" BBS LM's looks mint and its lowered... last he told me he was goona keep the 996 for the Winter and drive the 997 for the summers

I wonder if that is just a chrome painted vinyl covering. Kind of like the way they can paint plastic Blackberry parts to make them look like chrome.

 

they're done with dupont chromillusion paint. its expensive paint lol.

 

Yes one of the first cars to be done with that paint job was a Local E46 M3, now its White, coz the chrome fades after a while... google "chrome m3", thats a local car, Autowerks had done the new motor work...
