Now you tell me! I got pulled over this afternoon on a secondary hwy in QC for driving through an amber light by a lady cop (she said red, but it was yellow and it was bumper to bumper traffic). But guess what!...I smiled and turned on the charm and she let me go with a warning. Good thing too, because I'd been up since 4:30 to drive to the Dorval airport (from St. Sauveur) to fly to Quebec City for a few hours and fly back only to be stuck in long-weekend and road construction gridlock for 2.5 hrs! Long day! Drink and a cigar took care of the fatigue.

Well, it's 1:40am and I got the tether installed through the engine bay sheet metal and the child seat installed in the car. We're both still a little leary about putting our little one in a 35 year old car, but then we both remember what it was like in the 'old days' - child seat? what's that?
