But I think it's a sit down restaurant & defeats the purpose IMO of grabbing a coffee & talking "cars" besides our "cars".

As I live downtown I would prefer to not have it move too far out personally. Anyway, looks like a nice day tomorrow , so Sherway it is for me!

I agree for those reasons. I'd feel kinda silly not eating there and then parking there for 2 or 3 hours.

Who eats breakfast at Starbucks, probably Nobody. Artisan's is a sit down restaurant. I am pretty sure that if 20 potential customers were going to show up at your doorstep on a Saturday, they'd be very accommodating IMHO

We like to drive them, but from R Hill to Oakville in traffic is a bit much.
Have enough of traffic form M-F

Love driving to Mosport....

Since no definite decision I'll be at Sherway. It's hard to please everyone but if it goes too far west I'm probably out. is the colossus theatre at hwy7 and 400 a terrible spot? Tons of parking and coffee.

401 through to 403 is a breeze on a Sat morning (if you bring your son you even have the advantage of using HOV). This stretch of road M-F agreed is a mess. Mosport drive is always scenic and loads of fun

As opposed to assuming they'd be very accommodating, why don't you do the legwork and find out if they'd commit to opening early every Saturday morning at 10 am with no guarantee of how many potential customers will show up on any given weekend.

Lots of great ideas end up going nowhere. It takes a lot more research and planning to turn them into reality.

Someone has already done some of this research with favourable initial results. I do agree that most don't go for breakfast, but some more will grab a coffee and possibly even more might grab a lunch on the patio. Perhaps it just takes a few more questions and a solid commitment from all parties facilitated by a willingness to change that may aid in the process. Seems a little silly to even entertain change however, given that any move within 10-15 minutes of current location (east west or possibly even north), comes with complaint. For me 8 minutes to current location, 14 minutes to 403/Dundas, 5 minutes to The Wild Goose, 20 minutes to 400/7 or 45 minutes to the 905 GTG (side roads), are all insignificant compared to the pleasure of driving to a capable location were there is a genuine and large gathering of all types of enthusiastic Porschephiles. Loved that early 356 today BTW.

No particular problem in having two locations. People can make choices as they see fit. the current location works fine for me, but if there is a decision to move so be it. if it adds significant time from downtown, then I will likely go a bit less often.

Seemed like a shame to have them at the same time though. Still, if the longnose group wants its own GTG why not?.
