It was nice to see/meet everyone this morning! I wish it was a little warmer, and
there were less soccer-moms and seniors parking their barges all around the
cars..I was close to hyper ventilating when that couple parked next to the
997TT! haha..I know it's tradition and I'm super new to the group, but we should
move to a larger parkinglot with less traffic..

bigboi's911S; SICK 997! The rims are crazy! Are those Work/SSR Professor SP1's? I LOVE the
carbon details and the sound!! I was just about to come over to say hi and check it

Nice C4S you have Jakob. It was a pretty good turn out considering we were competing with Hershey and the Braiden Tire event. As far as the lot getting crowded, if we get there between 10-10:30, we usually squeeze out the riff raff.

I am a total newbie. I am hoping to come out this Saturday.

Last week I took delivery of a 2005 911 S with a GT3 body kit. Fun car but I don't even know how to work the radio.

I would love some advice on a better radio. With GPS and blue tooth.

I would love to figure out a few modifications to give it more power and possibly better sound. I don't have much to compare the sound to.

Welcome 997Rockie! Post some pics and bring your car on Saturday. As far as the radio, GPS, Bluetooth options are concerned, I think someone on the 997 forum posted an install of a double DIN unit to replace the unit in his 997.

I could tell the rumble at WOT would be insanity!

Sweet. I PM'd him about attending a Sat GTG as I want to hear it...too bad I couldn't attend last Sat. I am researching an exhaust mod. Thinking FabSpeed or Tubi, I think the Akrapovic might be more than I want to spend. Hopefully I can hear it soon.

Tough decisions indeed; at least you have a million options for the 997! I think the
stock motorsound (not sure if that's still called that, sport chrono?) sounds
amazing! So an exhaust upgrade will be next level!

I'm there next Sat, would love to check out a 997.2 C4S up close too!

Million options is the problem! I do find the DFI not as aggressive as I'd like, who knows if these mods actually add HP and TQ...that's what my Dyno day will be for.

As well trying to get first hand look at these systems on our cars is another issue here.

Got sprayed with some white (lane-marker?) paint today somewhere between my house, Sports Car Boutique (for a 4-wheel alignment), errands, and the house......., on the bumper and the hood, required persistent claying to come off, I had to use 000 steel-wool for the stuff landed on the windshield.........

Gave me a good reason to wash down the car and applied Collinite 845 to the whole car, I did it inside the garage so it's hard to say how well it turns out, will see it tomorrow at GTG.
