PORSCHE service in LONDON, ONTARIO ???
#46
I get Porsche of London to service my Cayman R and Boxster. I just ordered hop up parts for both cars from Brad their parts manager and I will have them installed there. Brad has been very helpful as well as Geoff in service. They are great for winter storage as well.

There was a period of time where our Service Manager just didn't know much about the product, but I wouldn't say that we refused to do it. Regardless, we are pretty well eduacted on it now and more than happy to perform the work.
Thank you as always for your kind words John! I can't wait to see, hear and feel the results on your Cayman R!

Hi Folks. Trying to find info for my father in law. He has a 1979 911 Targa and is needing some work done to it. He used to have a guy named Trevor work on it. I saw Trevor's name mentioned upthread from several years ago, and my FIL has fallen out of touch with him. Anyone know where Trevor would be now? Older Jamaican man, last time I had been to his shop, he was at Hamilton/Maitland area maybe 10 years ago. Thanks for any help.

Race Car
I remember Trevor. He did the safety on my 911 when I bought it back in 04. It should never have passed
As far as I know he retired a few years ago. I know his old shop is long gone.
There isn't really anyone left in london who's a specialist in vintage porsches. RSP is garbage and porsche london wouldn't know what to do with it.
A good friend of mine works at Klein Auto on York st. While they're not necessarily porsche specialists, they're familiar with older cars, particularly British, and they're honest. They've worked on my 911 and other older porsches I've had through work when I was running a dealership in london, including a transmission overhaul on an 86 911. Talk to Chris and tell Chris sent you. (yes, we have the same name )

Drifting
I remember Trevor as well. He kept my Audi 90 alive back in university and was an all round great guy to deal with, sometimes slow as molasses but always got the job done and for a reasonable price. Pretty sure he has retired by now.

New shop in Komoka, ON
Those looking to have their Porsche serviced, I suggest you give ACC MotorWerks in Komoka a try. Shop just opened in April 2022 and the owner knows all about working on Porsche, BMW and Mercedes, among other European brands. The shop is small, but the service is excellent.
