Garage Lifts
I'v been looking on the net but can't seem to find any Canadian ( ontario region ) installers of garage lifts. Does anyone know where I can get some information on installers?
Cheers and thanks

Hey Wormdoggy. If you have a manufacturer in mind try approaching them for recommended Canadian dealer/installer. I haven't seen too many dealers advertised in Canada. I guess the products are not too popular up here...Good-luck

Purchased mine through Auto Lifters of America. Free shipping to the border and I went down with a trailer to pick it up and bring it back to Ottawa.
I appreciated the very well made security latch systems and the fact that its a four post with the lift portion completely encapsulating the post (as opposed to a U channel).
Back Yard Buddy has a distributor/installer in Alberta and Maverick Steel has one in Vancouver. Don't know any in Ontario....

I bought my lift here:
http://www.hydra-lift.com/
They were helpful in all of my inquiries and directed me to a dealer who delivered it to my door.
I wound up buying a low rise scissors type. At the time, it was much better to go with a local supplier because of the exchange rate - don't know whether that wtill stands.

[QUOTE=Marc Shaw]A group buy for Canadians may be an idea as I was looking for a lift too.

I did find a supplier out of Orillia. He has the stinger lift that requires no bolting and can be moved even with the car lifted. Sounds really nice. Here's the web page...................a group purchase would be a great idea.

Click on shop equipment then hoists and lifts.
cheers

I had my 911 done there last year and just had my CT done a few weeks ago. He is able to do seamless bumper wraps which I like very much. Tell him Desmond recommended u.
