Ive used autoselect in newmarket. Hardcore porsche guys.
I've heard nothing but great things about Autoselect.
I would definitely use them for my spring oil change, but am reluctant to use an indi while car is still covered under CPO.
Quite a few recommendations in & around the GTA, nice to get a conversation going, get some ideas as I’m new to Porsche ownership. I’ll head over to EU Autowerks as it’s been recommended by a few people here and close to where I’m located. The Porsche community has been good to me so far, it’s different from owning any other brand. Porsches are a car guys car, and it’s been great getting involved with other Porsche owners. Looking forward to this coming season.
Nick and crew at Auto Select do great work and are really easy to deal with. Nick hasn't steered me wrong. Did the PPI on my Boxster all service the whole time I had it. I will go back when I get my next Porsche.

if you want to be part of this group get rid of that mug shot, we are here to talk cars , get a pic of your car in there .,, its not Facebook
well no where is cheap and there will always be a Porsche Tax.. its part of ownership unless you learn to do many of these tasks yourself.
I’m thinking of buying the tools and doing the oil changes myself. The tools would cost the price of 1 oil change so it’s something to think about. There’s a limit on how much I can do mechanically and depending on the job, I’d go to a professional. The cost of maintenance has to be considered before buying one of these cars for sure.

My son has a boxster and the only issue is raising it .. then one underbody panel on his .. oil filter and sump is right there..
Not sure if you can back up on to ramps with your car, if you can , everything is a breeze.. for access really.

I dont know how oil change tools will cost $500-800! You only need a filter removal tool and catch basin for the oil, maybe $50. Maybe add ramps/jack if you didnt already have them
Most of the newer Porsches are fairly easy to do this yourself. On my lowered 997 I just drove it on to a couple of 2x8's and reached under. On the 992 I just jack up the drivers side, pull the drain plug and lower for draining. Filter is accessed from above, super easy
