its a 2015 targa and a 2024 base Cayenne, total cost 3,300$
oh ok so the Targa is newer. Vintage may be able to help but they primarily insure classics.
Unfortunately your cost is not far off depending on your location and driver history.
Maybe try a broker to see if they can find you a cheaper company. But those are valuable cars. I currently have a clean record and I pay 1200 per year for a 2015 Touareg. Wifes q5 is 1400 and daughters EOS is 1100.

@Adamant1971 Which company/broker are you insuring your daily drivers?
I'm looking to shop around as my renewal is in April. I've casually shopped around over the years, and the savings (or increase) is marginal, generally less than $100. I suspect it's because I drive to, and work in a city that starts with a B (I don't want to get banned.) Clean driving record for 20+ years otherwise. Thanks in advance!

Recently did this for my mom and CAA came out the clear savings winner even beating her preferred teachers pension member offer.
This is a challenging discussion, as there are many variables to insurance rates. Hard to discern much from the OP post and other posts.
What company, what vehicle where do you live, claim history, deductibles, how many vehicles, total business with insurer, vehicle use, annual mileage, coverages and more.
Just a quick look at their site, you can't take your car to a shopping mall, taken to work or big box store.....by their wording guess you can't even drive it once to work (doesn't state commuting to work).....what else can't you do with it?
Not trying to knock it, genuinely curious about Vintage as it's come up numerous times. I have Chubb and Hagerty for sports cars (classic/new).

That's how I read it as well and then I thought to myself, what can you even do with your car?
