Did full PPF in Jan 2021 and am so glad I did. 3 1/2 years later the car shows absolutely perfectly. So glad I did as I'm keeping this for a long time.

Having just put 7,000kms on my car I wish I had put PPF on the full car not just the front (up to windshield). I have a nice little paint chip on the outer edge of my drivers fender. Its not bad just frustrating that these 911s get so beat up on the rear.

@Onami when do you take delivery? Must be soon hey?

Sorry to hear that Cam. Hopefully something a good detailer can take dare of.

My car should be leaving The port in Nova Scotia any days now!

Wow your car still hasn't left? My car just arrived in Halifax today. Maybe I can catch your train :-)

They sit in Halifax for 1 to 2 weeks for inspection. My first date to get out is tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Congrats on landing in Canada!

Thank you!

I have definitely seen many other cars go out within 2 days. I wonder if they spend more time on 911s...

My previous TYD dates showed just one day between landing and leaving (which I did not believe). Since landing, it now shows a gap until July 22 (6 days!). But I take these TYD dates with such a grain of salt...

(also sorry for stealing this thread.. super excited and we are both going to the same PPF guy once our freaking cars arrive!)

No worries on my part. Good to hear you are using the Refinery also. Gerard did the paint correction on my last 993 and they did a beautiful job!

I had the same issue even with PPF on rears. TLG guards on the front seem to help. Not very noticeable.

Same! Looks like despite you getting on the boat before mine, we are on the same train!

That's the most annoying part of these things.

If you only get front PPF, then of course you'll get a rock chip thats 1cm away from the PPF front-covered part.
If you get full PPF, then of course you'll get a windshield chip because you didn't get Exoshield on the windshield
If you get full PPF with Exoshield, then you'll fall into a massive pothole...
