@Onami I picked up my 718 from the refinery yesterday. Solid work!
Your 911 will most certainly be worth the wait :-)

The Refinery does excellent work and Gerard is a very knowledgeable and nice guy. If I wasn’t so comfortable with them, I would never travel so far for PPF. That’s my dilemna now…it’s 50 km and 1.5 hours across the city not taking highways to their shop. My trailer guy is booked solid for the next 9 days. I could buy a bunch of Tracwrap and drive it, try it naked and fix any stone chips or wait until the 19th. It’s so hard to put off driving the car for another week!

Well…5 hours and 3 60 yard rolls of blue painters tape later and the car was ready for the 50 km drive to the Refinery. Thanks for meeting me after business hours Gerard!

Also, 70% is quite light - why so little? why do tint at all?[/QUOTE]
70% tint still gives you UV protection.
I did my 2 front windows in 70% and my two small side windows in 35% and my rear window in 20%

Exactly! I hate tint, but need UV protection due to previous sun damage. Yes, the Refinery does tint also. My Macan S is tinted at 70% also.

Advanced
Bah I assumed he didn't as it's not listed anywhere and never mentioned. I'm taking my car tomorrow to get done. But I have not decided at the level. I prefer uniform tho.. thinking between 35 and 45%. White car so I really want the contrast but I also don't want the drug dealer look :-)
Plus the tint will help hide the ugly metal finish behind the seats because I didn't spring for the leather backing since I didn't think it would be noticeable. D'oh.

I thought the same, but asked Gerard and he said no problem. 70% is the lightest that he does and it's what was recommended by PCO on my Macan, so I went with that. I can feel the difference driving the Macan vs the Lexus when the sun is at full strength.
