the wood interior is terrible IMO. And the seats look they either have 300 k kms or been rained on to have that much patina.

Agree on the seats…very dried out! Disagree on the colour! I would never buy a yellow 993 - probably the only colour that I don’t like.

I would hire a team of private investigators to drill down on the history and then do a PPI at every Porsche dealer in Ontario (to compare notes) before taking it to an indy.

If all kosher then I would then get an estimate on getting that interior redone from top to bottom (written estimate of course).

If all is acceptable I would then offer $50k based on the color alone.

i guess if you want to own an automatic cab to save a few bucks knock yourself out ... but if i ever decide to buy a 993 , i think i would wait for the one i want .. and this wouldn't be it ... i think others think similarly so price is lower.

No offense, but I can`t see myself ever buying a 993 vert and never mind an automatic 993.
I walk right by them at any auto show that I go to. They look weird to me, especially when the top is down. I prefer the hidden top look like the 986 Boxster and 996 vert and so forth.
