Default Does Hunter mount/balance tires?

Anyone know if Brent’s shop does this? Trying to work out some logistics for a bunch of repairs.

well hunter tire machines do

I am pretty sure Brent also changes tires. Actually reminds me of the story where Courtney(Autoworx) changed a tire at the side of the road with tire irons (changed tire on the rim, not changed tire and rim).. He runs a full service shop so would be very surprised if he did not do tires. I always photograph my wheels before they go on a tire machine.

Thanks Danny. If he doesn’t, I guess I can take the wheels to a tire shop once he has them off the car and get the tires installed.

I don't think I've noticed a tire machines there. But no idea. His alignment machine was down end of season last year, hoping it's back up this spring.

For your idea, run up to Tires 23 in Mississauga. I use them a fair bit for Porsches and DD, 12 min drive. Terry and the owner are great.

Post disappeared.

I haven't noticed a tire machine there, but don't know. his alignment rack was down late season last year. Hoping it's back up for the spring.

For your idea to take tires elsewhere, run up to Tires23 in Mississauga. 12 min drive. I use them for Porsches and DDs, Terry and the owner are great. Service and prices. Close people I have recommended have also had good recent experiences.

100% my buddies and I have been using tires23 for years. Best balancing in the GTA IMO.

Thanks Guys! That is where I was thinking to go. I used them for my last 993 and my Macan. I work about 5 minutes away from their shop. I'm going to call Brent this morning and will ask about the alignment machine.

I'd trust a tire specialist over Brent. And I swear by Brent's shop for work

I don't disagree. The guy I bought the car from had already bought new tires for the cup wheels. I was planning on going with 18's, but don't need a brand new set of tires sitting gathering dust, so I'll run the 17 inch cups. I'm not too worried about mounting issues on those wheels. When I had tires installed on my new RUF wheels, I had Tires23 mount them because I knew they would handle them properly. Not one mark on any wheel after mounting.

Yes, just finalizing everything now. A bunch of misunderstandings based primarily on Orbit being swamped at the time of the ppi and me thinking that they were giving the repair quote to the current owner to discuss with me. He thought that they were giving the quote to me and was waiting on me to contact him! I assumed that he didn't want to cover the repairs as we had discussed and that's why I hadn't heard from him. He reached out yesterday just to close the loop and that's when we discovered what was going on. I talked to Orbit again and they said that the car was a "time capsule" and felt that I would be hard pressed to find a better car. So, we agreed on a price and we are just doing the paperwork etc.

Thanks guys! Yes, I really like the colour also. The car just looks so classy with the blue top too. I’ve never been a cab guy, but I really like this car. Making a shopping list to bring all maintenance up to par. New Michelin’s come with it along with a fresh oil change thanks to the seller. He’s a very nice guy, so I’m glad we got things worked out.

So, has Brent got some staff back? When he lost Ricky and the guy who did the oil changes, several of us found him to be a bit reluctant on the regular maintenance stuff and moved on. Henry was fabulous but retired during the dark times.
