Said apparently the stat now is 30 vehicles a day are stolen which sounds crazy. But have mostly heard of larger SUVs, not sports cars, so that sucks.

My neigbour had his second Tahoe stolen last week. tell your driver that gm has 2 solutions. 1. relocate the alarm wiring so that it can't be cut, and 2. modifying the electronics so it takes longer to reprogram the key. Wiring is $250, reprogramming is free.
