I had an interesting conversation with a local Pcar dealer in the GTA. Apparently the delta between wholesale and retail is growing vs during covid. They are also lowballing on trades coming in and being picky about what they are buying because they don't want anything they are going to sit on.

Funny timing on this post. I was casually inquiring about a 2024 TurboS and asked what they would give me as a trade-in on my low mileage GT. Response: $200K. I was waiting for a lowball but this was even lower than I expected lol. I responded that if they want that for my car (which they can re-sell with no luxury tax), the discount I would want on the 992 would be quite large, and we would start talking at 10% so I won't hear back from them again.

I'm noticing that the same cars that were listed for sale before Christmas are still for sale at very similar prices to what they were listed at back then. Of the 8 or so 991.2 Carrera T's available pre-Christmas, only 1 appears to have been sold (Tim's old white car). However, newer listings are starting to show up with lower asking prices than the original batch. Likely due to lower buying prices of the newer listings.
I see that 2RS didn't sell... PCO, wanted 150k more on home soil and didn't find their riches to the south...
BaT, ftw?
Looks like PCO is reaching out to the highest bidder to try and "work something out". Wondering why they are telling local Canadians then to kick rocks when they come in and ask for a discount... ?
