Default Anyone know of any failed PDRs

I'm in the market for some paintless dent repair. Does anyone have any examples of some failures, or what you thought would be a minor problem and it turned out to be major?

149 people read this, and no one responded. I'll take that for a good sign

Typically PDR guys rarely mess up, and if they do they sure as hell make the client whole.

20 years ago a PDR guy made 2 dings in a door instead of taking the first one out because ego.
He paid me for his errors, and that was 20 yrs ago.

anyone willing to do PDR on upper end cars is not going to risk take.

I know a few PDR guys.
Best way to find out who’s who is to bring coffee/fancy donuts to the service dept of your Porsche/Lambo/whatever dealership and see if they can connect you to whom they use.

I've had Dent Vanish in Guelph fix door dings on my 2012 Mercedes-Benz CL63 (aluminum door) and 1998 Mercedes-Benz S500 (super thick steel door). Results were flawless in both cases, you could never tell there was a door ding in the first place. He remarked though that my W140 had the stiffest doors he had ever encountered. The W140s are tanks.

Agreed, T is the best! He removed what appeared to be a serious dent from my Boxster's front fender in half an hour. I watched and in the first 20 minutes it looked like nothing was happening and then in the next 10 it miraculously disappeared before my eyes! Truely amazing as it's impossible to see where it ever was!

Ya, he is the best. I could not believe that he took care of this (aluminum fender) after my neighbor hit it. Original single-stage paint helped I am sure.
