Thanks guys lol! Great Winter tires, cautious driving and Ubering 5 or 6 times a year when there is heavy snow helps. I also grew up in Montreal and I am used to quite a bit more snow. All in all with Toronto's mild winters I think it isn't crazy to daily almost any car.

Im thinking why would he state he put his winters on in this thread...looked at page 6 to see winters on his Maclaren, sweet!
but then again it is rear wheel drive, why not pick up an awd like 911 turbo or Aventador for winter duty?

Kind of a bit of a journey. I wanted something fun for a daily. Got a 991.1 C4. Got into lapping and decided I wanted a RWD 911. Got a 991.2 GTS which was outstanding in the winter. Really felt AWD wasn't needed for winter here in a 911. I placed a deposit on a 992 GT3 in April 2019. Plan was to have the GT3 Touring as my daily and it was supposed to arrive about when my GTS lease was up. Given all the delays and the lack of clarity on if or when I am going to get one I started looking for another RWD daily. Landed on the 570GT. Having a fun car for only 6 to 8 months of the year doesn't really do it for me. Plus these modern cars can really take a beating.
