You should not be giving a deposit until you have an allocation.

If you are, please send me $5k as well.

 

Back in 2009 I gave $5K deposit on 997.2 TT one year before it was announced. But sorry, I don't feel like sending you any $$.

 

$5k deposit plus $15k more now that the allocation is set to bring deposit to 10%.

 

Are the dealers asking big deposits for cash flow reason? I figured no cars to sell = no inventory moving = no cash flow.

Unless you have some crazy specs, it is not like they can’t sell it if you bail.

5k was the norm. I actually don’t mind doing it because they let me use visa. I get points.
