Call Lawrence at 416-486-9276. He's at the Yonge and Eglinton area (Holly Street where the Hooters is, in an underground parking garage). Great work, decent prices.
Call Downtown Fine Cars ask for Ken at Audi service, they have the number for michael Angelos detailing or something like that, they are that good! Just ask him where to take your car.
Thanks for your suggestions. I took my car to a detailer not too long ago who operated in an underground garage downtown. When I picked it up I was very impressed but when I got into the sunlight was majorly disappointed. In retrospect I don't know why I would expect a decent job to be performed in such dim lighting. I got "the works" which was wash, wax & buff, interior vacuum & shampoo and engine shampoo. Shortcomings were as follows: windshield was dirty from wipers to the bottom - that's right, they didn't even bother to lift the wipers! ...even the local gas jockey will lift the wipers when he cleans my windshield! Rear seats were not vacuumed. Engine was spotless on the surface but look a few inches beyond the top of the engine and I found plenty of grease, grime, dirt and even leaves! At least it wasn't too expensive - $130 - but I hate paying money and then having to finish the job myself no matter what the price.
So I'll probably take a pass on the Holly Street underground detailer and give Michael Angelos a shot. Actually I had heard of them - I believe they used to be on Bathurst but now they're on Eastern Avenue.
DIY... If you want it done right, do it yourself! Nobody cares about your car more than yourself. Think about it... these guys go through alot of cars. Yours just one of many in a day. Yes your car is just a number to them. So if you want satisfactory work, take a good day off and do it yourself.
One more point to detailing the car yourself is, you can see all the nics and inperfections, this way you can keep on top of touch ups. I had 5 details shops which i sold 5 or 6 years ago.Nobody loves your car like you do.NOOOOBODY..

I use the Clean Car Company in BCE Place, great service and only $28 for a full handwash..never had an issue..of course if you don't have a monthy parking spot then your on the hook for parking ( $30) and they're not open weekends.
However, I have mine done every week, nothing like dropping it off dirty and driving home, the long way in a fresh car on a Friday...
