"Great" prices on Pilotsports ain't gonna happen ....

I picked up my tires and rims from Skyline Automotive in Vaughn 905-851-0911 ask for Ewann he's a good guy . Don't expect much of a price difference from dealers when it comes to Michelin Pilotsport tires as suppliers don't have much wiggle room and availability has been up and down with Covid on them, but where they can shave a few bucks is on mounting and balancing which they did perfectly right down to the Porsche wheel emblems pointing correctly at the valve stems. Tire and rim packages is where you can get decent deals depending on what you are looking for.

They are about $900 more expensive on 19" PS4S and doesn't include tax, mount/balance/install

I just bought some Michelin Pilot 4s (another car) through 4tires.ca. They had the best prices I could find, but, to be honest, I only looked at 4-5 places.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are made in USA and therefore would be duty free upon entering Canada. With our dollar getting stronger again, it makes sense to buy in USA and ship to Canada using Shippsy.
They only charge $5 per tire to bring it across. Taxes would be extra 13% but no duties. And tirerack ships free in USA.

It's not tremendous savings if any.

On a 997.2 C4S for PS4S. Tirerack to a US address is $1244 USD or $1559 CAD, $1762 CAD with tax. I was quoted $1950 installed including tax. $188 savings doesn't seem like much, much of this will go to a shop to mount and balance. Add Shipsy fees and getting it from them. Plus there is also a rebate of $100 right now.

I'd sooner support a local business.

Thank you guys! This is more than I expected to hear. Much appreciated! In the past, I've resorted to Cdn Tire mostly because their warranty cant be matched - I pop a tire or two literally a week or so, new from the shop (thanks to the dt potholes, construction trucks dropping nails everywhere), they replace it free minus labour cost.

Burning Rubber prices are competitive with PMC tire and they include balance/install

I agree, it will not be a big difference and I am also all for supporting local business. Sometimes you need a set in certain size and local shops might not have them, so being able to plug into US market is a big plus.

Just got quoted $2300 including tax, install and balancing in a shop in Niagara for the Michelins.
Referral from my mechanic but best price I've seen plus only 2 day lead time
