Default Tire Shops

Where are you guys taking your cars for tires? Looking for a shop for 993 and 997 this year.

I used to use Simply Tire and have used the dealer on the GT3. I used to use Moore's Tire and now use MTC Tire for winter wheel changeovers on the daily drivers, no tire fitting though and wouldn't want to. I've also bought wheels/tires with install from Tires23, for my DD.

Concerns for me are a) a quality job b) reasonable pricing c) convenience

I'm in Oakville but don't mind going a bit out of the way. Would imagine a shop that does higher end vehicles regularly would be better.

Burning Rubber Tire shop in Oakville took care of me a couple of years ago. They were awesome. Kid glove treatment all the way

I use mobile tire. He has good prices, knows what he’s doing, and he’ll do it in your own garage/driveway. Doesn’t get more convenient.

I had a good shopping experience with Billy at Tires 23 in Mississauga. Their tech team is well organized and very efficient, often a team of four or five guys going through the rounds. Best pricing is negotiated over the phone or email, and often their price is an all-in price (tax/installation/fees etc.)

Mind you, this was for my lowly 986 Boxster, and not a 993 or 997. They regularly get nice European cars in there and hit the track often, so they aren't your run of the mill tire shop it seems. Your mileage my vary.

I use JRP on the Oakville border.

They were recently able to source some RE71R's for me.

Ask for Ben.

Cheers!

The owner of Burning Rubber is also a racer. For what that’s worth.

Same. Been going there for about 15 years and countless sets of tires. Best price upfront and alway included taxes and all fees. Billy and his crew are great.

I'm assuming some of these shops can deal with centerlocks but not all?

Anyone with CL's go to some of these shops for tires?

I bought my last 993 tires on line at Costco and had Mantis mount them for me when I got the car serviced. That was the best price I could find.
