Yup. I ending up paying for the Sportsnet ap. Frustrating at times and quality sucked. Canceled it last night.
I should thank the Leafs for giving me my summer back!

I don't have cable, but thought about getting the app.

To fulfill my own curiosity, which platform and device(s) were you using it on?

I don't think the app even lets you watch local team games.

I used an Apple TV tethering off my iPhone. Connecting to watch a game was frustrating. Not sure if it was my wifi connection or the source. Refresh rate sucked.

The app made me feel like I was on a need to know basis. The plus package made it sound like all the games, then other links said 55 games.
After I paid for it there was zero communication. I figured an app would pop up on my phone. I found a drop down had loaded on my Sportsnet app.

For me I found the whole thing a shi##y experience. Made me miss Rogers!

Do you mean you are tethering the data stream off your iPhone? I know Apple TV has a native SportsNet app based on my research.

Yes. Phone to Apple TV, then cable from there to TV.
I checked all the apps on the Apple TV and found nothing.

Hmm, weird.

Friend of mine who has AppleTV has it and has a subscription. Mentioned to me hasn't had any issues with accessing content etc.
