Thank for all of your comments.
The spoiler is beyond savegable since it's full of cracks all over the including the brackets.

I've reached out my service advisor again and pointed out the main issue that the car is modified with a non OEM part and it's an insurance issue.

I've suggested a solution which was agreed upon both of us and I'll update when there will be a progress.

I don't want to disclose the name of the dealer prior to a resolution.

Turbodan, I'm sorry for my first post being negative, I'll try to find a vaccine for covid or something on my next one
I hope to stay and contribute here in the future and here is a pic of the car

You may want to block out the rest of the plate....but I could’ve guessed the dealer based on my own experience with them

I hope that isn't the case for all cars and all dealers. But I get your point. I've got a CPO 718 S arriving next week. It's on the other side of the country and with COVID there was no way I could go inspect it. Price was good after some quickie negotiations. Two local P Car specialists talked to me about a PPI. One would not go to the dealer, and since the dealer was shut down they could not easily bring the car to the PPI shop. The other specialist would have done it, but the price in my mind was huge. He did spend a solid 20 mins talking me through his thoughts about the car -- he said the least of my worries would be the power train (he seemed really confident about this). Biggest concern would be body related. So I settled on lemonsquad. Good report, not awesome, but solid. Honestly, on par with a specialty shop PPI I had done on a car I eventually did not buy. Great set of pics. And the dealer put it up on a lift as well (attaching a pic). So btw the CPO report, Carfax history, Autocheck history, all maintenance history provided to me, the fact that the car was originally leased and maintained by this same dealer, 15k miles, 3.5 years of warranty remaining incl CPO, the lemonsquad assessment, and what I felt was good responsiveness and honesty from the dealer (acknowledged and fixed a couple of minor cosmetic issues), my hope is the car will meet expectations. Being loaded on a soft-sided enclosed transport first thing in morning on May 27. Not sure about soft-sided. But whatever.

Leon, thanks for the pics. Car looks great in that blue.
Spoiler looks toast but I also can't tell what I am looking at.
No reason not to post the solution if you are happy with it as it would be good publicity for the unknown dealer. As a matter of fact they probably know about this post and should ask you to post what great care they gave you
Tahou: car looks CLEAN underneath at least. Ya the dealers up here especially often try to pull fast ones and lie about repairs etc... say car is all original paint and then we find out the dealer repaired/painted it

Unfortunately, CPO is a pure marketing gimmick, when I had my recent fight with VW over the R I found out that during a CPO inspection they basically do nothing but check off boxes on a list. Honda also burned us on an Odyssey Touring that was CPO and when I went to put on a trany cooler for towing I found un-repaired frame damage (they had disclosed a repaint of the front bumper skin), And I know of a car at Paff Porsche that got traded in last year after being a heavily modified track beast, they put it back to stock and were selling it CPO. Really all CPO is good for is the extended warranty, the rest is complete bull ****. Dealers are businesses that are all about turning over stock quickly and maximizing profit. I learned my lesson twice for not doing a detailed PPI.

If that is an aftermarket spoiler why does it have a Porsche symbol on it?

If they sold you that car as CPO with that spoiler I would raise hell until it is replaced with an OEM one

I really didn't mean in this thread to bash CPO in general or this dealer specifically, just was looking for an advice.
From my personal experience in the past I've received a great service when I made CPO claims from this dealer. Even in this case it looks like there will be a resolution, I'll update in this thread.
Also I've received the pre delivery inspection report and I know that it was comprehensive and many parts were replaced.

Turbodan, the cracks in the pictures are at the bottom of the spoiler once you flip it.

Sorry, not trying to bash anything or anyone. These threads come up from time to time and it is a good idea to make people more aware since many people get blinded by the CPO designation (and that's what the marketers want). My hope is that people will read these threads and will have more knowledge when going into a deal, so every bit of information good or bad can help other people in the future. Glad you are getting a satisfactory resolution.
