Default Maintenance and service recommendation

Where do you guys service your vehicles? Do you go to independent shops or service at the dealer?

Any reliable / reputable shops you would recommend in Toronto or north of Toronto?

I'm in York Region but happy to go somewhere reasonable for good service.

Thanks...long time lurker but first post. Vehicle in question is a 981 boxster (about 45,000 Km).

I used Zorotech in Stoney Creek for installation of the IMS solution. Very detailed. I also used Autowerks for a PPI. Thought they were pretty good also. Autoworks is close to Vaughn Mills.

I've used Speedstar in Markham for the past 10+ years and they are great... they've done everything from installing mods (exhaust, suspension, brakes) to regular service (oil change) and things like alignment, corner balance, ride height adjustment, etc. Definitely recommended if you're in the area and they have a ton of Porsche experience having run the Cup car program for Downtown Porsche for several years.

One follow-on question: My warranty is expiring some time near the end of the year... is it worth doing a "PPI" or equivalent before warranty expires just to get things fixed (if any)?
