Thanks, just ordered one. Was waiting since last year when they cleared these out for under $1000.

ive spoken to a few people....besides it having the 'cool' factor...most people have said for just basic oil/brake/tire change....it's cheaper to just use a jack + jack stands

i think i'm sitting out on this one.

My concern is storing these. Do they collapse low enough that they can be stored on the floor under the car?

Of course it is. But if you had the choice between the two and money isn't a factor, which is easier and more convenient?

I've never used quickjacks so I don't know. Obviously they're easy once they're under your car and you just push the button or whatever. What's it like to move them around and get them set up under the car and then store them?

Jack stands are safer when you are only lifting one corner at a time and that's what I do when doing any brake or suspension work. Also, most cars will lift both wheels up if you jack that side up high enough. Most of the people buying these lifts will only do tires and maybe brakes on their cars.

I'll give you my jack stands and jack. I'd rather use my QuickJacks for anything that requires the wheels to come off of the ground. I'd rather lift the car as a whole than play teeter totter on a jack and jack stands. There are things I have spent money on that I have sat and asked if it was worth it. I have no doubts that they were money well spent.

Mine live under my pick up when not in use.

Yes, and they can be hung on the wall. I do winter wheel changeovers 2x/yr on 2 cars and I'm sick of jacking each corner of the cars to change the wheels. I plan on pulling the exhaust over the winter for a Sharkwerks centre muffler bypass and a Gundo, and this will be perfect for that job.

For $1150, I would spend the extra and get a 2 post lift... I have a midrise maxjax for the past 8 yrs. It raises my vehilcles about 50" off the ground. It was $2000 from costco delivered back in 2011...

For wheels and tires, I would recommend someone get a decent jack and 1 or 2 pairs of jackstands. Or build cribbing if you need it a little higher.....

If you use it a lot, then it's worth it.... I usually raise my vehicles about 10-15x total per year... this is mainly winter tire to summer tire switch over (4x), tires and brake swaps for track/street (4x), and maybe 6 oil changes ( over 3 vehicles), I might raise a vehicle maybe 3x/yr for repairs. If I do, the added height from a midrise is better....

I'd part with my barely used one if someone local is looking for one.
