Turbo Honda K-Series swap into my Porsche

I came to this conclusion after reading others using, other version of VW engines that bolt up to the Porsche gearbox. These VW engines have transmissions that bolt up to the TDIs so logically the TDI should bolt up to the Porsche transmission too. BUT please take this as a non first hand experience info.

Literally created an account to subscribe to this thread! Been a Honda guy my whole life, joined the Porsche community by selling my 2013 Civic Si to buy my 987 Boxster. Great little car but the engine is not a great platform to squeeze power out of. Well aware of how K series make reliable power, with (relatively) cheap repair if things go boom.
Figured if it fits the 997, it'd fit the 987! Very interested in how this turns out. I will subscribe on youtube as well!
Cheers

Three Wheelin'
This is one of those projects that reminded me of "that" one girl you once knew back in the day were that little voice in your head even then said you shouldn't and by that very nature you did. Then for many years after you somewhat regretted it and you questioned yourself why? and came to the conclusion that I was young and she was there. Now many years later when you are left with memories of days gone past and you think of that "project" you are now so glad you did simply for the adventure and to brag to your friends that you did ! That being said go for it .... I love the technical obstacle challenge !!
