Default Hershey - How Many Parts Can We Bring

Hi,

How many parts can we take across the border to Hershey? Or, how much value in parts?

I "may" go.

Thanks
James

you can take as much as you want. You should have a document to give to the border listing all the items you are bringing and then they will let you return with the ones you haven't sold. Have them stamp the list.

you pay tax on. take this from a guy that got charged 1700 in hst on cgt seats.... not to mention baffling the boarder guys when they looked up the price.and broke my ***** because of it.

"Currently, if you stay in the U.S. for 24 hours you qualify for an exemption of $200. That exemption climbs to $800 if you stay 48 hours or more."

I assume that if you sell parts you will need a vendor table?

Contemplating as well. Long way to go - but I could make room in the garage by selling some parts.

I think its going to be our 25th year always in a P-car. It’s our annual spring long drive with the expectation of spring blossoms and smell of green grass being cut as we get further south. We always stop in Henrietta (south of Rochester) over night to do some bargain shopping as allot of stores have sales, visit Harbor Freight to buy more tools I don’t need and finish off with dinner at Carraba’s. The next morning we head to Harrisburg via Williamsport, a nice drive through the mountains. We now stay in east Harrisburg by the Union Deposit/83 interchange with better (and generally cheaper than the overpriced ones in Hershey) hotels and better restaurants than Hershey. It’s a 20 minute drive to Hershey Park where the swap is held on Saturday morning.
All good fun rain or shine. Try the crab cakes at the swap meet. If you are serious about finding that special big ticket part then get there real early. If you are like me, wait until about 11m when the vendors are a bit tired and don’t relish the thought of packing up unsold parts.
Cheers,

If I don’t go it will not rain in Pennsylvania, if I go it will most likely rain.

50% chance of rain when I last looked.
