Windshield Replacement - 2015 Cayenne GTS
I have a friend with a Cayenne GTS that needs a windshield. Any recommendations for windshield replacement in Toronto? Assume should stick with OEM glass for this.

Just did my wife’s a few mos back......the overhead console is very trick to get off. Plastic sticks and a know how on how release it is a must so as to not f up the clips...... make sure who ever does it has done one before......

I think they know what they're doing.... I've had 6-10 windshields replaced in my driving career... all have been fine... Your experience different?
About 3 summers ago, I had 3 windshield replacements on 3 different vehicles in the span of 2 months.... crazy.

A buddy who has his own replacement business in London , he does some of the dealerships in London. The roof console removal can be you tubed where a guy makes it look easy. The clips on my wife’s were a bi**h and quite stubborn and nowhere as easy as the YouTube, You don’t want to break anything as the console is like 700 to replace. Plus you don’t want to bugger the clips as I don’t think you can just get the clips. All I’m saying is , if you don’t take it to a dealer make sure your installer is familiar with these clips and exactly how they work. The clips can be adjusted if you know what your doing...... I’ve read wher some guys have mangled them and couldn’t get the consol tight again.....if you can 3D visualize these clips is easy to adjust them for a looser or tighter fit......
dealer quote was ~1100 . Indy glass guy was ~700 but my buddy owed me a favour. The Indy glass is indistinguishable from Oem imo. FYI , if I need my 911 replaced , I will use my buddy again. BTW, I had to watch him do my wife’s as she will barely let me open the door on her Cayenne.
