Now that our kids got drivers licences, Allstate is insisting that each driver be a principal driver on a separate vehicle. In our family there are 4 drivers 3 cars. In actuality, I am the one to mostly drive the Macan and the only one to ever drive the 911. The Subi is being used by everyone. I should be the principle on both Porsches, but Allstate does not allow that. Making it very expensive to put the 911 back on the road for the summer.
Does your insurance company allow same principle driver on multiple vehicles with multy-DL families?
Many companies will let you list the kids as "excluded drivers" on vehicles. Otherwise they have to rate every vehicle as being driven by every driver in the household.
Everyone is my house is excluded on the Porsche. I am listed as the primary driver on 2 cars. Everyone I know who is an insurance broker told me never to use Allstate. They all felt it was THE WORST insurance company.
We have 3 cars and 4 licensed drivers. The wife is principle on the Lexus. I'm principle on the Porsche and the GTI. My two daughters are occasional and excluded from the Porsche. I've been told some company's won't do this. If yours won't then I would move to one that would allow.
If you have a wife, have her on one, you on the other and raise the age limit on your Porsche 911 to 25. Eliminates the kids

If you guys can tell me which insurance company you use or know that has such a policy, I'd really appreciate it.
