OT: Garaga Garage Doors
Anyone with good experience with garage door outfits they can recommend?
Looking to have Garaga brand garage doors installed, reading Yelp feedback of some shops makes me cringe....
Thanks in advance.

Bought mine from Costco a few years ago and yup, Garaga. Double steel insulated with windows. Had the dude install a high lift kit on one door as well. They just sub contract to local companies

I've had 4 installed over the last few years and have been happy with the service from B & M in Georgetown. They also have an office in Mississauga.
Didn't really shop around; wanted Garaga and went local.
Went with the Liftmaster side mount opener btw.

Also looking at Garaga doors and new openers. Contacted B&M, seem decent easy to deal with. Haven't gotten competitor quotes yet. Found out they installed our current Garaga doors for previous owners.

Used B&M (in Mississauga) to install garage doors at my house. They were easy to deal with and had no problems coming back to adjust my garage door openers after renos were done.

My wife is in the renovation business and she uses Automated Door for her clients. Her architect that she uses does the same for his clients:

They installed a new door at our house (double wide door, side opener) as we have a lift inside and 11 ft ceilings. Installation was very neat and tidy with outside surround metal and inside surround wood. No left-over screws and materials! They also installed my son's door....he is very satisfied. They do have a yearly tune service for $75.

Ended up using Dodds Doors, https://doddsdoors.com/
Good price compared to other companies I checked out, it also had 60+ PAGES of primarily positive Homestars feedback.
The sales manager made a minor mistake with pricing in my favor, but stood behind it without trying to back paddle, that to me was demonstration of integrity.
Door was installed a couple of weeks ago, there was a minor issue with the door which Dodds is taking care of getting replaced, I had to make a couple of minor adjustments with the opening travel distance and closing force, easily done in 5 minutes.
Overall quite happy with the company in terms of work performed, removal of old door, clean up, post sale service, all with good pricing.
I dealt with Allan Grant.

I had done some work with Richards Wilcox out of Mississauga and asked them to quote a 16' x 7 door for us in Burlington. They had a local guy contact us and I went with them. Great door well insulated and overall a very nice product, and they have a showroom in Mississauga too, so you can see what your getting in full size.

Jim,
I checked out the R&W as well, in fact it was at the Home Show where I had come across them first time, great folks, reasonable pricing, and I liked the all white colour on the interior side of their doors.
However the deal breaker for me is the 15 feet width of my door, which meant they could only offer 3 horizontal windows vs 4 which Garaga doors have that I prefer.
Else I might very well have gone with the R&W brand.
