Hey Rod,
If you're going to pull the engine yourself I'd recommend doing the pinning yourself as well

The PCA tech form indeed has a section for Mezger engine cars. Asks the tech to confirm whether coolant lines have been pinned / welded, or alternatively if water is being used in place of coolant. I'll be running Redline Water Wetter next season until I have more than one thing that needs to be done engine-out ie clutch.

I was questioning the safer than the 401 comment 😉
