I agree, and there is only one thing that is needed to keep everyone together. Radios

So if anyone has a pair please bring them to share.

I need to pick up another pair for the family, so I can bring 4 and lend out 3.

Strict rules of engagement are also important and setting the tone before you begin
It only takes one or two cowboys to ruin the day for everyone and leave a bad taste in the general publics mouth about porsche drivers.

Cops are not looking for me at least to the best of my knowledge. But no matter how you look at it a large group of cars driving on a secondary road with an artificially low speed limit is a nuisance for those driving close to or under the speed limit. And there are lots of them; some will pick up the phone and report the group to the police or if they see a police car will stop and complain. And from all I see in the press the police itself encourages such reporting. I've seen people on the side of the road using their smart phones to film the group going by and they were keeping it low as to capture the license plate, no guessing as to why they were doing that

I thought you said large groups were better? But here youre saying they attract more public/police attention?? Im confused

Regardless, its a great drive but having experienced a bunch of these now it is always a challenge to keep big groups together. Doesnt mean its not fun though and i will be there

cheers

It certainly sounds like that, does it? I still very much prefer to drive as part of a larger group, what I wrote were some of my observations from a couple of drives I've been to this summer. I found it is getting worse compared to say last year or the year before when bystanders were mostly waving with big smiles

That info is private until you register. At least I think that's how I set it up.

Here is a screen grab. (plus 3 or 4 peeps that have not registered yet)

^ I like the optimism!! My car is filthy anyway so as long as it's not torrential downpours I'm still in. Might be the last long drive until next summer!
