Default Where to buy hats for two piece brake rotors?

Hi gang,
Any suggestions. I've haven't seen them in Pano or Excellence and was wondering if they are all pretty much the same. I'm switching from the one piece to the two piece for my big red system.

Thanks in advance.

i don't know much about the two piece rotors, but some that i have seen appear to wear much faster than factory rotors, i.e. more pronounced grooving. Hopefully others will chime in.

Manny,
you might try calling Dave Lindsey at Lindsey Racing . He lists factory two piece rotors with his big red kits

Why you upgrading? Just want more cool bolts to match with your wheels, right?

Manny, I suggest that you go with hats that are designed to work with the stock 993 turbo rotor. T have had less than great results with Coleman rotors. Stock turbo rotors have many advantages. Thay are relatively inexpensive. Much easier to order or get in an emergency, warp your rotors at the track and you have a lot more options on getting replacements. If Lindsey racing does not carry them for a 964 try Powerhaus, I know they have them for pre 89 911, I imagine they will have them for the 964. You might also try Kelly Moss.

I believe Steve Weiner(Rennsport) is a Wrightwood Racing parts distributor. Charlie ( as in Charlie Bars) makes the best hats and caliper adapters around.

EXCUSE ME!!!!!! EXCUSE ME!!!! Your choices are exactly what was offered by the MANUFACTURER since you are a ACTIVE stock class PCA race dude. Or you could move to GT2 and install whatever you like!

Brake stuff is not "free"...

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I wanted to upgrade because 1) it definite looks cool and if I'm not going to drive fast, I might as well look good driving slow 2) I figured those few ounces of unsprung weight that I save may be good for a second to two

Bill, watch out, I may start a rumor that you only have a 3.2

I have a set of Coleman rotors sitting on the shelf that were trash after one day. Looked like a problem in the casting process. I bought them from Mandville and got no help from them. The rotors from VCI have worked very well. I wore them down past the grooves and they were still running true. The Colemans were out about .009", nice foot massage.
