Driver Needed for 25HR @ Thunderhill!!
The Huntley Racing Team need one more funded and liscenced driver for the 1st annual longest race in the world the 25 Hours at Thunderhill! We have 2 funded drivers plus 3 others including the car owner and two hired guns. We need one more driver to complete the team. ONLY experienced drivers please. This is a NASA National Event which means you will need a major Race liscence to drive from IMSA, GrandAm, ALMS, SCCA, PCA, POC to be legal. The car is running in the E0 class which should make it very competitive in class against the M3 BMW and Honda cars. The car is a 911 Lightweight 3.0 ltr injected engine with full coil-over suspension, digital dash, full radio equipment on full Yokohama Slicks. The car is sponsored by Huntley Racing, Yokohama Tires, Torco Racing oils, F&L Racing Fuels, SSF ans others in negotioations now. The event will be televised and covered in Road & Track mag, European Car, Sports Compact Mag, Racer Mag and others. We have a full pit crew, full track transport, Sleaping accomidations durring the race, Food and drinks provided, all forseable spares are on hand, over ten sets of brand new sticker Yokohama Slicks are on hand, 400 gal or leaded race gas are on hand, Full drum of Torco Race oil is on hand, etc.... Thanks for the interest. The cost is $5K for 5 1 hour stints plus some practice time too. This includes entry fees and such. Food and drink will be available at the track all three days for the team. During the race there will be bunks to sleep in between stints. All drivers must pay by the 25th.
