is it the fastest stock looking old gen 911 around? I mean , it looks just a little more than a spec 911, but out ran most all the cup cars! a true, wolf in sheep clothing! what's in it??

Default 911 torsion bars

Pretty much the ultimate torsion bar NA air-cooled Porsche 911 racer.

Very good driver in a very fast car.

it must have been in GT3 mode this weekend. ive seen the POC guys in the old R5-V3 class run near this fast. fast enough power wise, but very light for handling too! it was funny, he wasnt that far behind the cup car on power down the straight. thats a HUGE disparity in technology (and power)

Was the track off a bit? Looks like condition were ideal...

997.2 cups at the front usually pace at 1:29's with club drivers (.5-1 second faster in qual)
991 cups around 1:28

track was real slick in qualifying (oiled down pretty good from 5 to pit lane)
and the race was pretty decent. good temps, but track was a big slick. i couldnt tell as tires were getting old.
