I could answer this question a few ways.

If money was truly no object then I would want to go racing. World challenge probably.

Dizzy, Thanks, I have heard that comment a lot. I prefer the Forgelines as well, but still need a set of period correct BBS'.

What were you driving at MSRH?

Lots of great cars to choose from but I think I could be happy with a GT1.

If I had access to a local race track (unfortunately I lost my access as my local race track permanently closed in 2011 and it does not look very good for a replacement to ever resurface). Anyway if I had access to a local race track and money wasn't an issue I would seek out one of the 500 or so 4.0L 997 GT3RSs ever made and buy one. But without a track my normally aspirated 1997 993C2 is plenty fast for the public roads and I will just have to be contempt with it. I do lust for a faster car, but driving an air cooled Porsche is fun (I have a Fabspeed exhaust installed on the 993) and it was a great car to learn on when I had access to a track. It was not too powerful to get me into trouble, but it was still plenty fast as I learned how to drive a car on a race track at my limit which was close to the car's limit. Put an experienced driver in a faster car, and I did not have a hope in hell in keeping up to them on the track. But put a lesser experienced driver in a faster car, and I was able to pass them with my lowly 282 horses under the hood.

I know this is not true as there are plenty of awesome cars in the world. But it's still fun to say "Porsche, there is no substitute".

And don't forget the GT1 or GT2 EVO. As much as I worship those old racecars I think I would end up in some sort of 993 chassis.

This one is almost ready. Unlimited budget? Factory race car, either a 935 or 993 GT2. But I'm so old and slow now that anything more than a real version of my faux 993 RS would be foolish.

If money were no object I would go pro racing - IMSA, Conti, WC, VLN or something. I don't care if it were a prototype or a miata - I would just love to race.
