I wear contact lenses almost exclusively for track events.
With that said, sometimes the contacts dont stay put well enough.
I would prefer to keep my glasses under the helmet but that is IMPOSSIBLE with my OMP Speed helmet.
Tried the Pyrotect open face and it accommodates glasses easily.
I use the Bell HP-5 which is meant for closed cars and supposedly has a wider eyeport.
The durability of your frames is also incredibly important. My clear lenses are housed in Mykita Mylons (www.mykita.com) which are incredibly tough as the frames are produced by a laser sintering process (much like 3D printing). My sunglass prescriptions are housed in Lindberg metal frames (www.lindberg.com) which are very flexible yet tough and slip under the balaclava and helmet very nicely. Good luck!
I think the better question to think about is which glasses work best with helmets. My experience has been that the best choices have straight or near straight temples that are fairly ridged, and that fit close to your head. Temples that curve around the ear or that flex too much are a royal pita with a helmet.
I haven't ever had any trouble with my HJC Si-12. Nothing special as far as a helmet, but it gets the job done. I have my eye on a new Stilo, but I haven't tried it with glasses. Curious about others that might have the ST5?
BWAHAHAHAHAHA. I wish the comments on school grades were true!
Check out today's post on Facebook by Stand21-US. They posted a picture of Yves Morizot signing my helmet as well as the rear of the final product. Pretty cool.
One more note about the Stand 21 helmets -- they do a version of the cheek pads for glasses wearers. Let them know during the order process. That said, I use the non-glasses version of the pads and I don't have a problem, so long as the arms of the glasses are fairly straight, as stated above.
As others have said, it is more about the frame than the helmet. Small tight fitting frames work extremely well. If the sales person says the glasses are too small for your head then buy them. Mykita is an outstanding choice used by a lot of bikers because of the durability and flexibility. I have a pair of glasses that used only at the track and prefer them to contacts as the eyes never dry out.

I've used these Maui Jims both in and out of the car for years and under various helmets with no problem:
No frame, light (don't feel them on you), flexible, thin temples fit close to head and are just hard/flexible enough. Factory replaces lenses with brand new for $85, indefinitely. Strongly recommend.
