Anyone here up to speed on this facility? Making progress based on Facebook photos and layout looks like it will have some decent flow.

Just pumped to have new facilities being built within a couple hours of Boston.

I like the layout of the course and the potential elevation changes. I wasn't even aware of this facility being under development, the east coast is getting a lot of new facilities in the next 12-18 months with this, Pittsburgh and Dominion.

Wow...expensive to build a track on the side of a mountain...it'll have great elevation change though

Trees and lakes. Those are my top picks to have next to the racing tarmac! Let's hope there are miles of armco to prevent you from ending up in the woods or the water.

Between this facility and Palmer, Bostonians will finally have two high quality tracks that require dedicating one to two days to travel alone. Track day nirvana.

Beautiful, but a tad exuberant from an investment perspective.
Monticello opened in July 2008. Just saying.

Looks like a beautiful site. Bet it will be very expensive, given the costs of building roadways in mountains. Any lawsuits pending? (the great track killer)

From what I've read, Club Motorsport has cleared most if not all legal hurdles. The process was a long and tough one that began over 10 years ago. The initial membership fees they offered were substantially less than what Monticello Motor Club is now asking. Of course Monticello is only 90 minutes from NYC and they enjoy a very different demographic compared to what CM will be drawing from. The photos of CM are quite beautiful.

When you drive by the site, they are doing tons of work. I have my doubts about the place, but hopefully it all works out.

Geez that's a hike from western CT, much further than NJMP but without having to go through or around NYC and through NJ it could be a lot less painful to get there.
